Fee, fi, fo, fum is the first line in the giant’s chant from Jack and the Beanstalk. It has no real meaning, rather it was just the beginning of the rhyme.
In this simple finger-play version, I’ve built on the original lines and added some extra verses that play with rhymes while keeping a consistent meter. Each new rhyme also has a fun new action to match.

When ever I can, I add ASL (American Sign Language) to the actions of songs, rhymes and finger play. Yum is demonstrated by here by rubbing your tummy in a circular motion. To add a second ASL sign, you could also add the word ‘stir’ by mimicking mixing a big spoon in a bowl you were hugging!
